7 Days To Die

If you are into zombie games and still have not played 7 Days To Die, what is wrong with you? There are more than a few people out there who still claim this is the greatest zombie fest that has ever been created. If you like zombies, shooting and lots of blood then this could be the game for you.

Survive Or Die?

One of the things that I really liked about this game is the sense of death that it has. Seriously, it did not matter how good I was doing, how many supplies I had and how many electric fences my base had. I never once truly felt safe. Many games try to imagine what it would be like to be stuck in a zombie apocalypse, but I think that this one takes it a step closer to reality than most others do.

Lone Wolf Or Wolf Pack?

There is a campaign in 7 Days To Die and it is pretty much what you would expect. It has a kind of Walking Dead/28 Days Later thing going on and that is cool with me. The game throws a lot of objectives your way so it is going to take you a fair bit of time to get through. As well as playing it on your own, you can also jump into a sandbox mode which in all honesty is not my cup of tea, but it was still fun.
I had a great deal of fun playing the game on my own. I was pretty much suspicious of everyone out there, but I did team up at one point and we had a pretty good community going. Working together does have its advantages and with the right people, it can be a great deal of fun. Still, trying to survive in this undead hell all by yourself does make you feel like a badass.

Check Out My Gear!

One of the main aspects of this game is not just fighting off the undead and other survivors. It is crafting. You have tons of stuff that you can make in this game. We are talking about stuff like weapons, ammo, building resources, clothes and more. To do this you need to scavenge. Each time you head out of your home base, you never know if you will be coming back! There is a real risk and reward thing going on here in regards to the crafting and loot gathering portion of the game.

I am not sure I would agree with those that say 7 Days To Die is the ultimate zombie game. However, it is a game I have had a lot of fun with. It may be a little rough around the edges in terms of the presentation and even in its performance. However, if you like zombies, you will have a good time with this game.
